Easter Sunday

We had an amazing Easter with both our families, First and Easter egg hunt, then presents, and then lunch. Brayden got to hunt Easter eggs with the dogs and of course came out with the most eggs. He absolutely loved it even though his idea of hunting eggs was throwing them out of his basket onto the floor. We didn't really hide them, we more so through them onto the floor in front of him. He had a great time, and we loved watching him. we had a very blessed Easter and we missed all of you hoping your was wonderful also.

Ryder's Birthday Party

Brayden's friend Ryder had his first birthday on Sunday, it was a cowboy themed party. The party was a blast with a jumping gym, barrels of hay, and mud pies for dessert. Brayden had such a good time and of course he helped Ryder open his presents, but I figure Ryder will help Brayden at his birthday party also! It's a boy thing.

The Little Gym

Brayden attends The Little Gym with his friends every Friday, we play with bells, bubbles, balls, and climbing mats. They teach the kids a skill every week and a new sign as well. Last week we developed his arm muscles by learning to hold onto the bars at the gym. He did really well and laughed the whole way through it. The instructor also gives the kids time to explore by themselves and play with different stuff in the gym. Every time we go Brayden's face lights up, he absolutely loves the gym and looks forward to going every week.

11 Months Old

Our little man is now 11 months old walking everywhere, getting into everything. He is constant entertainment in our lives, and everyday he brings more and more joy to our home. I am going to try and update this blog regularly so our friends and family are able to see Brayden as often as we do. Thank you for being apart of our lives and sharing in Brayden's journey with us.

Brayden Learning To Walk

Brayden learned to walk at 9 months of age, he is still falling down he's a little unstable but he gets better everyday! However I have never been busier in my life. His favorite thing to do right now is let the dogs out of their crates, I put them up and he lets them out. Probably the cutest thing I have ever seen except when I can't leave the house because my dogs are running around with the encouragement of my 11th month old. Really I have 3 children!

Brayden from 6 to 9 months of age: We went to the Pumpkin patch where we picked our own pumpkins. Brayden dressed up like a dinosaur for Halloween and went to a party with all his friends, it snowed here 4 times this year and Brayden had his first White Christmas! (kyle thinks that's a sign, he says he is going to be lucky) Kyle makes us laugh just as much as our little man. In the New year Kyle, grandpa Jack, pops, and Ryan built Brayden his first fort, "FORT DOWDY"! We have been very lucky to spend so much time with both our family's, Brayden is such a lucky boy.

At three months of age the Doctor gave us the ok to travel, Brayden took is first trip on an airplane to El Paso.

We had Brayden on April 22, 2009, He was 8 pounds and 21 inches long. He has been an absolute blessing and God has truly blessed our family!
